A fall protection plan is an essential component of the Safe System of Work required whenever working at height is required. The plan will identify potential hazards and associated risks and detail the working methods, equipment, anchor points and training requirements to allow the work to be undertaken safely.

Below are some fall protection plan requirements, including documents that can help you develop a fall protection and rescue plan for your worksite. It's important to keep your employees trained, keep up-to-date copies of the latest OSHA, ANSI and CSA standards and inspect your fall protection equipment on a regular basis. But there's a lot more to think about.  Capital Safety recommends every employee participate in a comprehensive fall protection training program to create the knowledge and skill base necessary to protect workers at height.  Because at the end of the day we want every worker to go home safely so you can live your life to the fullest tomorrow.

Capital Safety offer a consultancy service to aid the creation of fall protection plans and rescue plans. Capital Safety can also offer full training and inspection services. For information please contact 01457 878 640 or trainingne@capitalsafety.com.
